What is the dimension and cost of a garden plot?
Old Sauk Community Gardens offer tilled AND no till garden plots. For no till plots, fences can be kept up over the nongrowing season, but all tools and equipment must be moved at garden closing. Tilled plots are tilled at the end of April. The fee for a full plot at Old Sauk Community Gardens is $50.00.
A full plot is approximately 400 square feet. New gardeners are encouraged to request a half plot for half the fee ($25.00). The maximum any gardener can request is one full plot. If it is difficult, or you are unable to pay for your plot, please contact one of the committee members listed in the “contact us” menu and we can waive plot fees when warranted.
